About

My name is Michael Britt and I have a Ph.D. in psychology from the University at Albany. I taught psychology for 10 years at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. I’m also a mnemonics fan. I think it’s fun to find ways to remember things. It’s amazing what you can remember if you spend a small amount of time using mnemonics and other memory aids to remember complex ideas or seemingly unrelated terms like the parts of your brain or a neuron.

I hope your as excited about psychology as I am, but you may not be. If you love psychology like I do then check out my podcast and blog, which is called The Psych Files.  On The Psych Files podcast I talk about all kinds of topics related to psychology and everyday life.  I keep it upbeat, and if I’m successful, fun.

If, on the other hand you need to remember something for an upcoming test, then this is the place for you.  I’ll do my best to provide you with interesting and useful ways to remember psychological concepts.

If you’ve got a question, suggestion, or even a better way to remember a concept in psychology than I do, then by all means share it with all the visitors to this site.  You can type in a comment for a post or email me at michael@psychtestprep.com.
